Highly recommend. Post-bunionectomy, it’s better than gel packs! I have really loved this. I’m post-op with a bunionectomy (lots of elevation, lots of ice) and I’ve ended up preferring this “old-fasihioned” bag to the fancy gel packs of different shapes and sizes that we have in the freezer. I can sort of fit it to whatever angle I wish around my foot, my ankle, even specific parts of the area that was operated on. It keeps a tray of ice (yes we have ice trays, believe it or not) or two (which it holds) very very cold for a long time. If I fill it…
Soft and perfect. Second edit. I had written a glowing review, bag is soft, stays cold for 12+ hours. So hard to find locally and it was just what I wanted for migraines. Then I noticed a wet spot on the very bottom, upon first use, as the ice melted. I assumed it was a leak and filed for return, very sad. I realized though, that the spot was only on the bottom where it has contacted my counter. I turned it upside down still full and let dry. Then I rechecked, no leak, it was condensation. I am keeping…
comfort coated ice pack. ice lasts longer then me. Great ice pack. what I really liked most and why its better then some iv used in the past is the ice goes into the rubber liner and is surrounded by a nylon material so the cold comes through to wherever you need it but does not get dripping wet from condensation nor does it make you have to pull it off every 2 minutes from freezing your skin. also it held the ice for hours before having to refill it. actually I was timing it but it outlasted my patience. I fell asleep…hahaha.
