Graceful, delicate-looking little bowls for more than just ice cream or cereal! I bought these small porcelain bowls with the original catering sets of dinner plates and salad plates also made by 10 Strawberry Street over 10 years ago. Somehow, whenever I slip on a rug or slide on a spill on the floor and come crashing down with shards of broken pottery (not really pottery — they truly are porcelain), it’s always one or more of these that I was carrying. Received damaged package of mugs The mugs appear to be of good quality but received a box full of broken mug shards. At least few mugs appear to be completely crushed.
3 of the 12 were broken when delivered. And … 3 of the 12 were broken when delivered. And as I reviewed the mugs, I discovered that they are not authentic 10 Strawberry Street! I have 3 authentic 10 SS mugs remaining from sometime ago. They are much higher quality and their logo on the bottom of the mugs is fired into the mug itself. These cheaper fake versions put a plastic sticker on the bottom of the mugs that emulate the genuine 10 Strawberry Street mugs. Needless to say, it is very disappointing to realize I cannot trust vendors on…
