I am really pleased with this Rustic Melamine dinnerware set I am really pleased with this Rustic Melamine dinnerware set. In fact, i liked it so well I ordered two more to make a set of 12. The set is top-shelf dishwasher safe and yes, I have washed all the pieces many times in the dishwasher. I used regular Finish dishwasher cubes, worked perfectly – I – I love the dishes in every way, especially in that are so much lighter than the heavy pottery I was using (smile)..

For the price of these plates I would have expected much better quality. We had other melamine plates and they … I purchased these plates and within just a few times of using them, the plates started to show scratches from using a knife to cut. The darker colors show much more scratches than the lighter ones. After a few months, these plates are literally cracking almost in half. For the price of these plates I would have expected much better quality. We had other melamine plates and they last years without scratches and cracks. I would not recommend these plates and I am very disappointed.

Beautiful plates, but scratch easily I love the way this set looks and bought two sets for my RV. They look even better in person than they do online-rustic and fun. However, the very first time I used a plate, I cut a PB&J sandwich with a butter knife, and it left a noticeable scratch in the plate. I still like the plates, but I’m disappointed in the quality. If you cut anything on them with the slightest pressure, they will scratch–badly. It shouldn’t be an issue when you spend this much money.The photo is of the…
