Ok for the money. Very lightweight aluminum construction, I would definitely carry a kit like this on a 3-day hike; however, it’s VERY flimsy. If you fell on or dropped something on it, you might be able to bend it back into something that it used to resemble, but it’s certainly not built to last.
Didn’t realized I bought two sets, but it just … Didn’t realized I bought two sets, but it just means that we each get one for camping.Package was a little damaged, but I am not surprised by it this time of year.Overall worth the money.
A timeless classic….. Having been in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts in my younger years, I had grown fond of these simple yet very dependable mess kits while on various outings. They are made of aluminum to save weight in your gear pack and hold up well to extended uses for trips last two to three weeks or longer. Easy to clean up and take up very little room in your gear pack. Saving space in your pack, as any outdoors person knows is a very welcomed advantage. I, for one, am really glad to see these mess kits still on…
