Compass bends easily It’s ok, The compass metal bends easily and the shiny finish flakes off. Have to be careful with it for woodworking. It’s better suited to drawing on smooth surfaces.The protractor is thick and decent. I haven’t checked the measurements, but they seem fine for what I’ve done.
My daughter needed one of these for school, and … My daughter needed one of these for school, and not a store in town had them! (We have a Walmart, a Target, Dollar Tree, and several other stores. They were all sold out (if they had them to begin with!). Thanks to Amazon Prime she started Middle School with all the supplies she needed.
Works Well in the Short Term I bought a set of 30 compasses and protractors. The protractors are very high quality. I teach in a public school and like the metal compasses better than the plastic ones. After using the compasses for a week with 100 students, five of them are no longer functional. One “fell” completely apart (no doubt helped along by a student) and four others became too loose. Overall, the compasses worked very well. At this price, I will reorder a supply every year.
