They are the costco version, so they have plastic arms instead of wood. That’s fine for the beach though! The only things I would improve are the fact that the fabric looks like it could rip soon when we sit down. I don’t sit down too hard on it. Perfect beach chairs!!! Just returned from a week at the beach with these chairs and wanted to wait to review them until I really used them! Well, problem is, I didn’t get to use them hardly at all because everyone in our family liked these chairs the best! Very comfortable to sit in on the beach. The reclining seats are a huge hit and worked well for me to make it comfortable for both me and my toddler for him to nap on the beach.
