Works as fast as other higher-priced sticks Being in New England we use the fireplace a lot during the winter. Just light a couple of these sticks and you can start the fire easily. I have purchased several different brands in the past, and these worked just as well or better as higher-priced brands. With the lower cost you can purchase a bigger box to have more on hand instead of buying the other brands and getting less. Great fire starter! Great stuff! 2-3 pieces, no other kindling required. Burns long and hot enough to get regular sized logs going nicely, if your wood’s dry. No more splitting kindling for me. Will buy more when this runs out.
GREAT Firestarter but Need SOME Paper & Kindling GREAT to get fire started. HOWEVER, contrary to what others have said, I DO need to use some paper/kindling to get fire really going. Sometimes not enough resin on the wood stick so it burns out before log starts to burn. I use much less paper & kindling but I found I do need some to get things going. BTW, before my box of Earth Worth Fatwood came, I bought a small box of Duraflame Fatwood….Earth Worth seems to have more sticks with fuller coat of resin so more sticks burn better. Highly…
