Remove the body of the filter from the faucet before opening the body to install the replacement filter to avoid bending or damaging the connection at the faucet.”Change “1” of the package instructions to “2” and change “back cover” to “front cover”. We LOVE PUR filters and have been using them for years We LOVE PUR filters and have been using them for years… BUT thinking I was getting a great price on these filters – I noticed that the packaging per filter was different and the plastic covering was a different color blue. PLUS 3 of the filters didn’t work and the others – the water came out too fast.. So I called PUR and found out from PUR that these are counterfeit filters. DO NOT buy from Superior Products!
Product May Not Be As Advertised I have used this PUR system for years and find it excellent. My problem with this latest order of a 7 pack box of the PUR RF-9999 filters is that nowhere on my box does it say either “three Stage” or “Triple Action” as it does on the box in the picture. Ergo, how do I know that it is the same product advertised on the Amazon website? The older, original models of this filter were TWO stage.so perhaps that is what this is? If my purchase is in fact NOT three stage,…
