Worked great for city water Works great for city water. Got rid of the chlorine and funky smell. Lasted a full year and we only changed it because we thought we should. It hadn’t lost any pressure and still delivered great tasting water.
Gets the chlorine out! Been using these for several years now and very satisfied. We had high chlorine reading in our (town) water! (I discovered this when I thought I could taste chlorine when drinking from faucet) I used our pool testing kit & sure enough, our drinking water had a higher reading than the ppm’s of chlorine we keep to sanitize our pool! Called the state and learned that high ppm’s of chlorine in town drinking water is legal! This zapped the chlorine and we replace it yearly. Too bad it can’t remove…
Great Filter I’ve been using this as my whole house filter since 2008. My water is from a well so there is always the chance of some sediment or particulates in the water. My experience has been that this filter will last for 1 year. I change it in January each year and have no problems. This year, I decided to see if it would go longer but by Feb, the water pressure drop was noticeable when showering.
