This stunning 4″ sundial compass is fully functional. The legs are completely adjustable for any surface. Pioneers would set the compass to the North, then use the hinged sundial to adjust the angle given the season and be able to give very accurate time.
This fully engraved piece is made to last a lifetime. The diameter of the sundial is about 4″ across.
It will make a great addition to any nautical home decor or maritime collection.

No instructions or protective packaging. Compass seems inoperative. I had hopes that this would be packaged effectively as to not damage the product.

Nice conversation piece So I probably would give this four and a half stars, but I gave it five for quality, craftsmanship, and it’s overall steampunk feel. It is good size but can easily fit into the palm of your hand. I’ve not tested it out in the daylight, but I imagine that it will be pretty accurate. Some criticized it for the lack of instructions and lack of good packaging, which really makes me want to knock off a star. While I know how to work this sundial, others may not.
