Blue dye leaked and stained lunch bag I have only had these for a few days, but was looking forward to testing them today for work. I put the blue and green packs in my lunch bag, but when I opened the bag to take out my lunch, the blue pack had leaked all over the inside of my lunch bag and on my containers. I am very disappointed as the blue dye stains and will never be gone from the interior of my insulated lunch bag. Don’t waste your money!
The other options close to this one are too thin and basically useless 10 mins after taking them out of the freezer Finally someone gets it right. Most kid’s lunch-packs/boxes are the same shape, square. Typically, we have to sacrifice space with one of those boxy blue freeze packs, that a) take up too much space, b) don’t stay frozen (or even cold) for as long as you think they would/should & c) sort of require you to decide which side of the lunchbox stays cold and which side is sacrificed. Works perfectly for lunchboxes!! These are the perfect size for lunch boxes, and they hold their cold state for a decent amount of time if kept in a secure area. I have used these for my lunch for about three months now. Never have I opened my lunch box and found a warm Ice pack.
