Very White and Shiny.. Very functional, but not beautiful. I bought these as extra salad plates and was going to use them on my open shelving along with my other heftier white dish collection. These are fine for sticking in the cupboard to pull out when needed and are a good price, but they are nothing special.. I would spend the extra money on something more special next time, as my open shelving is my main storage area for dishes.. lesson learned.. You get what you pay for.
Love I liked that they are thinner so it fits in my Cubbard better. Also easy to clean. Microwave safe!
They look great, but… I received the 7.5″ salad plates at the end of November 2018. They are supposedly oven-proof, microwave-proof and freezer proof. Today I had placed some hot food on one of the plates and after about 5 minutes, the plate shattered in my hand! Not sure how the manufacturer can claim oven-proof, when merely placing heated up food on the plate caused it to shatter. Quite disappointed because other than that, they were exactly what I was looking for, plain white, and light. Could be a random thing,…
