Lasts a lot longer than expected. I’ll start off by saying the glow sticks I received did not come in a tube but instead a box; not a big deal as all 25 were in the box along with strings to make them into necklaces or hang them. Also the glow sticks have both a small hook and a hole for hanging; basically the ones I received are a cheaper version of Cyalume.
