What a cool product that is just as useful for entertaining as it is for going on a hike. This double insulated growler allows you to deliver a customized message to your guests so everybody knows what they are getting into such as a 9% alcohol by volume beer (keep the lightweights away!). Constructed out of stainless steel, it is double insulated and vacuum sealed for maximum performance. This growler will keep any liquid cold for up to 36 hours and hot for up to 12. A helpful hint for improved performance… fill the growler with ice water or hot water for 30 minutes prior to use. Then empty it and fill with your beverage of choice and enjoy an extended performance! This growler is NOT dishwasher, microwave or freezer safe. Simply hand wash with warm soapy water and air dry. For a deeper cleaning, soak with a mixture of baking soda and warm water. A basic glass cleaner is ideal for cleaning the chalkboard surface. Beautiful and gets the job done Big fan of my newest beer transportation device. Was looking for something to replace the 8 glass containers scattered around the house and stumbled into this option. It’s already making my home brew look classier when I bring it out for tastings and seems a nice step up from an overlaid sticker or a couple sharpied letters on the lid.
5 Stars I purchased this in preparation for camping season so I could fill it with some beer from our local brewery and take it with. Although I haven’t had a chance to use it on a camping trip I have tested it our twice since it arrived and in both cases it kept my beer ice cold and carbonated for hours. Can’t wait to use it more as the weather warms up! Its also handy for writing “keep off” on the chalk and or I guess you could write the name of the beer if your in the sharing mood.
Good for maintaining cold beer for a few hours These work great for filling from our kegerator and having outside for patio parties. They kept the beer cold and frothy through our party. However, they didn’t hold the cold temperature more than about 4 hours. Which works for a party (and assuming you are refilling that fast anyway) but wouldn’t be as great if your intent was to take camping or something similar. The chalkboard finish on one of them was smoother and doesn’t hold the chalk as well as the other, but works.
