How to get the most out of your Juggernaut:
Wash thoroughly before use with soap and water Charge with ice to maximize cold retention: pre-chilling the bottle with ice will improve the insulating performance, and can extend the cooling capacity beyond 24 hours. Simply fill the bottle with ice water, and let sit for about 15 minutes. Then, remove the ice water and immediately fill your growler with the beverage of your choice. Use hot water to charge before filling with coffee, tea, or other hot beverage. Wash lids thoroughly after use. Small dings and dents will not impair the insulating performance. Growler is compatible with Hydro Flask style lids.

replacing older plastic 64 oz container that I used to … replacing older plastic 64 oz container that I used to carry water on my mail route. The old container would not keep ice for the whole day and on really hot days my water was warm bu the end of my 145 mile route. With this I still have plenty of ice to keep my water cold all day long. I even found it in the cabinet where I keep it on a Monday morning after being off for the week end where my wife had put it without emptying it and it still had a little ice left.
Keeping cold is easy I bought this because I do a lot of yard work during the hot and humid summers of the Deep South. I was going through several bottles of gatorade just mowing my yard. This one bottle is so much better. I can put three 20 oz. bottles in here, and it keeps them cold for hours. I can have this outside with me, and even on the hottest days, in direct sunlight, I have access to wonderful cold drinks the entire time. I have noticed that it will stay cold until the next day without putting it in…
A great stainless insulated growler My ‘gold standard’ for a thermos was my 45 year old Stanley. I took the Pine Sky and my old Stanley and filled them with 120 F water. After 7 hours the temp in the Pine Sky was 110 F, while the Stanley yielded a temp of 80 F; just above room temp. Winter camping will be nicer with this addition to my kitchen, and I have placed a “Quick Fist” in my dory to hold…
