Better Than I Expected! I purchased this backpack because I was looking for a medium sized bag to carry my heavy (4 pound) U-type bike lock. I couldn’t attach my U lock to my aluminium bike frame because the frame tubes were too large for the mount that came with the lock, plus the weight distribution on my bike would have been severely off.I am not a fan of drinking from a camel pack bladder, so I removed the bladder. A Versitile Back pack I have used this pack for about 30 miles of hiking so far as I train to through hike on an 85 mile trek this fall. I am very happy with this pack. The hydration bladder is not insulated, but the compartment holding it is and works very well. Water stayed cool for several hours in August heat. Comfortable, great day pack I took this out for the first time on 4/28/18 for an 11mile round trip hike through the superstition mnts in arizona. It was about a max of 85 deg by the time we finished the hike. Here mt first impression, the backback has a comfortable fit, i didnt find myself adjusting after i got the straps in place.
