It works. Stylish, doesn’t leak, keeps my coffee reasonably hot for six hours, (more if I wrap it in the daily newspaper), and almost 100% free of plastic smell/taste. Too bad it isn’t made in the USA.
Weird taste out of cap This thing is close to perfect. Fits in my bike’s water bottle cage. Leak proof so far. Easy to clean.HOWEVER, I can’t get past the taste. I’ve hand washed and dish washed the lid thoroughly, yet every time I take a sip, it takes like burnt rubber/plastic. It’s fine if you pour it into a mug. Hopefully the smell/taste will go away so I don’t have to carry another thing or remove the lid to sip.
My Daily Must-Have! This is actually my second Stanley Travel Mug, and there is hardly a day that goes by that I don’t have it with me. Nothing wrong with the first one except that I lost it, and I loved that one enough that getting a second one was a no-brainer.About this one, I have to say I am really impressed.
