Poor liner lock design I really really like this knife and I really want to give it 5 stars and carry it everyday and get like 3 more identical ones for backups but there is one major flaw that almost makes me want to return it. The liner lock sits flush with the grip so it is very difficult or impossible to close the knife one handed using your thumb to release the liner lock.
Small EDC cleaver So far so good if your looking for a small light edc cleaver blade this works. Only thing is mine sometimes doesn’t lock into place fully when flipped open..Wish the handle was just a little more wide. But other then that I’m starting to like it more and more! As I said the handle is small but the VG10 C01C sheepdog blade is beautiful.
Rugged, compact EDC I have the black and the green scaled versions. The black was a five plus star out of the box, the green was a three star. The detent on the black one made the blade scream, “HERE I AM BABY!” on deployment. The detent on the green one made it meekly say, “i’m coming out now, okay? i may lock up, i may not, better give me a little wrist”. Black one, zero lock stick. The green one, moderate lock stick.
