Nice knife but wish it had a pocket clip Nice knife but wish it had a pocket clip. I didn’t realize it didn’t come with one until I received it and it wasn’t worth paying shipping to send it back.
It’s cute Due to my poor reading and $10.99 price I quickly added this item to the cart….Bantam means ‘small’ and that’s exactly what you get. It’s perfect for EDC and small tasks, letter opening, package opening box cutting. I only have two minor complaints on the item. The handle is g10 with no metal linings or frame, there’s no pocket clip. That being said, it will fit easily into the coin pocket of jeans and its American assembled/made…it’s my first BUCK knife so I’m not going to judge the…
Great blade comes super sharp Great blade comes super sharp, and holds an edge. This little knife is very comfortable.I had a 286 (a bit larger) which I loved and was much more sturdy. The locking mechanism on the 284 is poor. I can feel the blade moving when I carve, and when I have really pushed the knife to the limit (batoning small pieces of wood), the blade becomes unlocked. Also, the thumb stud wiggles and rattles.
