Would not recommend this product! I received the order very quickly but when I activated one to put on a burn I received the same day it never got cold..not even cool. Tried another bag thinking maybe the first was a dud. No…same results. Very disappointed!
Flawed The other negative reviewers are correct: These cold packs have two main flaws:
A Good Cold Pack For Small Areas These instant cold packs from Dynarex are handy for treating localized areas for a short time. They are rather small, but that’s an advantage for me as I keep a couple in my luggage when I travel. They do get very cold, but since they are small there isn’t much volume for the reactants inside and they don’t hold their temperature very long (maybe 10 minutes as a guess.) They are difficult to activate by hand, and that’s why they lose a star in my rating: the “Squeeze Together Here”…
