vacuum bags great bags, they seal every time to create an air tight barrier to preserve whatever may be in them. Very heavy and also can be reused over again if need be
We tried some lighter weight bags last year bought at the local supply- not good after the first use These are only bags! I rated them at a 5 because they will reseal as many times as there is room left to seal. The bags have been boiled, frozen, nuked, left in the sun on a hot boat cabin, and subjected to all the abuse a bag could endure and they still can be used again and again. Great bags that hold their seal! The best for less! These hold exactly one pound of ground meat, just like the chubs I get from the meat processor. As of now, these have held their seal. Some of the meat I packed two hunting seasons ago got pushed to the bottom of the freezer. When I opened the bag, the ground meat was as good as the day it was packed.
