The Cyalume Snap Light is an industrial grade chemical light stick providing instant 360 degree illumination, that can be seen up to a mile away in optimal conditions. The Snap Light is waterproof, buoyant, non-toxic, and non-flammable. To activate the light stick, bend, snap and shake the tube. The light stick has a hook and hole top, for hanging or attaching the light. Each light stick is individually foil-wrapped for protection from light and moisture, and has up to a five-year shelf life from date of manufacture. The durable, waterproof, external body of the light stick is made from low density polyethylene (LDPE), and is phthalate free for safety. So much for fun for kids and adults! Very safe too! In the late 90’s my friends and I would buy a 100-pack of these Cyalume glowsticks and was shocked to find out people were willing to pay $20 for ONE of these Cyalume glowsticks at a rave when they sold out one night. Now that I’m grown up, well, the fun never ends with these things. And of course my kids love glowsticks but those dollar store ones aren’t as bright and doesn’t last very long.
Amazing lasting light These are the best glow sticks I’ve ever used. Bought them for a demo for color wavelengths for my students. Broke one if each color at 8am. They were still glowing brightly by 10pm. The following evening 3 were still glowing fairly well. By the third night the red stick was just starting to really dim and was gone by the following morning! Def worth the money and will def buy again
Cyalume glows with light – Good product here – Obviously there are a plethora of uses for these handy light sticks – Whatever the application (realistic) – These won’t disappoint – I use them for film and photography work on set – While they aren’t going to turn anything into searing bright noon sun, they are the perfect tool to have in the event you need light ASAP – Keep in mind these are more geared for being able to be seen rather than using them to illuminate areas to see; by no means does that mean you can’t use them in place of a…
