This is exactly what I wanted it to be. I’ve been using this more or less daily for about two weeks and it fills the use case I wanted it for perfectly — I can press my Aeropress (without adapter) into it and then stick the lid on, and it becomes portable, spill resistant, and stays hotter for longer. It holds 8oz, meaning I can fill up the Aeropress entirely and press the whole quantity through, and don’t need to pour any extra hot water into the cup afterward to top it off. It’s also very easy to clean.
Fantastic! These are fantastic. We got these to have our morning espresso in, after being unable to find replacements for the small insulated metal, lidded cups we’d gotten at Cafe Ladro (a version of which used to be sold by REI), after one of them got lost. Well, lo and behold, these cups are not only adequate replacements for our old cups, but they are far superior! They keep the coffee warm for hours! We love them and highly recommend them.
Splashes like crazy, not for traveling I love the size, but definitely ain’t splash proof like it claimed. It splashed like crazy. So the lid is a no no or maybe i would recommend getting a taller cup for traveling or leave this 8oz one at home. Overall, quality is amazing, love it even tho it makes a crazy mess.
