It is loaded with features that any CB radio enthusiast will appreciate. When coupled with a good antenna it performs just as it should. The dual power source is also a big plus as it can be operated as a mobile unit in a power out emergency.
Defective unit… No stars…. Item received defective. Unable to change channels and channel indicator doesn’t work. Pathetic. Aren’t these things checked at the factory??? Very disappointing. Returning.
Extremely disappointed in this radio Extremely disappointed in this radio. For the amount of money you spend on a radio of this caliber, you expect it to be “on” frequency from the second you turn it on. Channel 19 is supposed to be 27.185. It only comes in at 27.175 and many of the other channels are “off” frequency as well. They’re not even tune-able because they’re so far off and according to the manual, the radio is tuned at the factory. Not possible for the radio to be tuned at the factory if it’s this far out…
