Not Reliable and at least 1 Dead on Arrival. I placed one by the door to walk visitors out at night. Inside of 10 uses at less than 2 minutes each the switch stopped working consistently. Changed the batteries, same problem. Grabbed a new flashlight and fresh battery and that one didn’t even pretend to work for any length of time.
Good value for the money I purchased the about a year ago and like it so much I wanted to get a few more. I found these Mini Cree LED flashlights and thought they looked about the same for significantly less money so I figured I’d take a chance and see how they are. Bottom line, good value for the money but not quite the quality of the Atak.
Pack of 5 for under $20!! Absolutely a no brainer!! So, a 5 pack of these for under $20 is just absolutely unreal. I bought a single one to test out at around $6 and was even happy with that price point. These are “Ultrafire” lights, has the label stamped on the frame and yes they are a knockoff of other more expensive lights. The aluminum body is sturdy, the pocket clip is strong, and the lights are bright. I don’t think they are 350 lumens as advertised and folks have pointed out that the Cree Q5 LED used in these probably won’t put…
