Pins easily fall out of hinges. The photo makes this wind screen look much taller than it actually is. I measure top to bottom the segments are 5 and 5/16 inches. Side to side the segments are slightly under 3 inches. The photo also shows each hinge has what looks like 5 rings on each side. The one I received has 3 rings on each side. In other words, each segment is not over twice as tall as it is wide as is implied in the photograph.

Many of the others are short, and don’t have as many panels, so they don’t work as well as this one. The price was good, the unit folds compactly and stores in a nice little drawstring bag, and is easy to use. Most importantly, it helps you conserve stove fuel by allowing more of the heat from your stove to…

Good Construction But Not Practical Does it work? Yes. However, I don’t think I really have a use for it. It’s too heavy for backpacking and unnecessary for car camping (because I have plenty of stuff that can be used to block the wind).
