Seemed to be well built, however very hard to … Seemed to be well built, however very hard to open. This might improve after using it for a while. Instead I replaced this knife with the Gerber fast draw type.
“one-handed opening” was a little difficult at first The “one-handed opening” was a little difficult at first. The hinge was tight and showed some rubbing on the blade. A little 3-in-1 silicone lubricant helped, and practice will also help me master opening it. Just using it will work the knife into order I’m sure.
Good blade… DANGEROUS blade locking mechanism The older style Paraframe is my favorite knife! This newer version… not so much. The blade is sharp and nice, BUT its incredibly difficult to release the safety mechanism to put the blade away. To the point where it’s dangerous. With that being said, I will probably take the blade off of this one, and install it on the old Paraframe frame that IS usable.
