I’m using this as a cooking surface on my fire pit and it works great This is a great grill and it solves a problem for me. I’ve been looking for something that I could lay across the top of my fire pit in my backyard that would provide a surface or me to cook on, either in pans or using a griddle and this works great. The legs are set about six inches wider than my fire pit and while they don’t reach the ground, the grill itself is wider than the opening of the pit an so it just lays there nicely. Awesome Grill, XL We love our campfire grill! It is super sturdy and lifts the food high enough over the fire to cook it without being burnt. Got an XL when we ordered a medium, but we ended up loving the larger size!
