Great hat except gray and khaki (tan) are now too small and going back I loved these hats and bought all 4. Got the navy and green first and they fit fine. They both had the black inner head band, plenty of room for my 7 5/8 head. But now I got the gray and khaki (tan)and they are both too small, very tight on my head. These 2 had inner headbands to match the color of the hat looked like a different manufacturer. They are going back. Too bad because the quality and price are good except the oversite on sizing. They will fit a size 7 head.
This is a great hat except for one drawback This is a great hat except for one drawback. The ‘moisture wicking band’ does nothing. I have to wear a bandanna under the hat to keep the sweat from POURING from under the hat into my eyes. It shades, it adjusts to fit around your head, the strap keeps it from blowing off, so all that is great. It’s just the unending river of moisture that’s annoying.
Navy is darker in reality than pictured. I got the Navy color and is darker than pictured. But at least it hides the black mesh fabric allowing the hat to look uniform.The threads and stitching is pretty rough. There were tons of loose thread and knot heads. There were even markings left on there the seamstress did not following when sewing with the machine so the stitched rows were not always evenly spaced apart or even aligned.It fits well on my head and I do like the wide brim.
