Keeps Food Warm 4 HRS This brand of thermos is one of my favorites, and I purchase a lot of reusable food holding items for lunches and travel. This 16 ounce thermos is attractive with the purple color, keeps food warm for hours, but will keep it even warmer if you preheat the thermos with hot water before adding food. The lid screws on tight and we’ve never had any leaks. The fold up spoon in the top compartment of the lid is handy but awkward to use. That is the only reason why I took a star off. Overall, I…
Same classic design with new name and color It’s the same classic design with new name and color. I prefer this opening size and the rubber bottom. Now you can also order the replacement gasket on its own with very reasonable price and shipping. Excellent customer service. Not that the gasket to seal the mouth was fragile. I lost the gasket after many years of use of my old jar.
Excellent quality This is a great Thermos. I heat food on the stove for my daughter at 6:30 am an it is still hot when she has lunch at 12:30pm. I use to fill it with boiling water while the soup was heating up to warm the thermos, but she said the soup was TOO HOT come lunch time. Now I just put the hot soup in the room temperature thermos. The only reason I am taking a star away is because I don’t love the double lid with a spot for the spoon. It’s one extra piece to clean and there are a lot of little grooves…
