I LOVE Salomon! I’ve lived in Colorado for 10yrs..avid hiker and trail runner..and I have switched over to Salomons the last 6yrs. I will wear no other shoes! The trail runnin shoes have great grip for hiking, and even 10+ mile hikes my feet still feel like they are on clouds! The ONLY reason I didn’t give them a 5 star rating is, that damn plastic piece that is used to keep the shoe tight and secure, breaks. I’m on my 8th pair, and every pair has had an issue with that clip crapping out.
Love, love Love, love, love these shoes! I’ve suffered from Plantar Fasciitis for years so am very picky about my shoes. These are comfortable from the moment you put them on. So glad I discovered them.
LOVE I know it goes against recommended advice, but I took these straight out of the box and wore them on a 20 mile hike up Half Dome and back. AMAZING. Yes, my feet hurt at one point, but I put on a new pair of socks and felt like a million bucks. I did not go up half a size as some recommend. The half size up felt too big and loopy, even with thick socks. Highly recommend.
