Buck heaven If you need a history lesson about the 119, I’m not gonna preach. What I’m gonna tell you is that this is one beautiful version of grandpas classic. Each handle is going to be different because of nature, but mine fits my palm perfectly! The wife bought it for my birthday, be jealous boys, making me one happy camper! I’ve got the bone handle, classic black and now this one!
The worst part is I ordered two 119’s from Amazon and … On initial inspection the knife looked OK, but a closer look revealed a loose guard. It wobbles somewhere between 1/8 to 1/16th of an inch. It was disappointing to say the least. I know Buck will fix it; but what a hassle. The worst part is I ordered two 119’s from Amazon and Neither was perfect and I also ordered two other knives direct from Buck Custom shop, a 110 and 112 and the 112 has a wobble blade. So 3 out of 4 Buck need repair straight out of the box. 1 out of 4 being perfect does not…

But it turns out to be one of the most comfortable knives in the hand . In my opinion I have paid quite a bit more for less of a knife then this buck .
