Excellent Morakniv Eldris Fixed Blade Pocket Sized Knife. Not a big knife nor a tiny knife but a very handy size. It is the size that one would use for many things as it has a nice full grip. It should be a good knife for a tackle box or a back pack whether you are just going for a short day hike or a cross country trip. I have lots of knives and some short stocky ones like this one that cost a lot more but won’t do any more than this. Fantastic knife! Fantastic knife! I like everything about this knife. It has a dual grind similar to a Mora 200. The length is just short enough that is allows the upward curved portion to curl the shavings properly on a feather stick. The handle is typical Mora comfort and it has a short plastic sheath with two holes for a neck lanyard. If anyone has a typical machete that has a pocket on the sheath like a Condor Bushcraft parang, Ontario Gen 2 SP series or the Ontario RTAK 2 this entire knife will fit in…

In hand is reminds me of my mora 120 carving knife. The eldris is a design only mora could pull off, with its fat stubby blade and handle. The short blade allows you to use the curve of the edge to make nice slicing cuts.
