This Case Peanut is a part of the Mother-of-Pearl Family. Harvested from the inner lining of oyster shells, these handles are admired as much for their strength as they are for their beauty. Peanut knives get their name due to their small petite size, fitting discretely and conveniently in a pocket. This durable folding knife features a smooth pearl handle and laser engraved bolster with two full length blades. The Clip blade is commonly used as a multi-purpose blade and preferred for detail work. Then Pen blade is great for light work. This durable folding knife is constructed with Case Tru-Sharp Stainless Steel which is a special high-carbon steel that helps the blades hold an edge longer than conventional steel. It also offers extraordinary blade strength and corrosion resistance. This pocket knife is suitable for everyday demands, the outdoors, or hiking. Comes conveniently packaged in a box. Made in Bradford, PA, USA from domestic and imported materials.

Work knife, not a collecting show and tell knife. I’ve seen some complaints that this knife is poor quality because the blades are not high polish and has plastic scales. This is a “work” or value offering from Case at a lower price than the purty knives, thank you Case for this offering. If you use ’em, highly polished blades get easily scratched and scuffed and look worse than the “as ground” finished blades of this knife.Closed length: 2 3/4″, brown plastic jigged scales, polished nickel bolsters. The clip blade appears deceptively large–almost as though it wouldn’t fit back inside the body of the knife. I also have a Baby Butterbean that I love–shown below with this knife. It’s about the…

Six of them now (yellow delrin, dark red bone, chestnut bone, amber bone, blue bone, and now bermuda green bone). I buy a lot of knives because I’m a knife knut, and the peanut may be my favorite traditional knife pattern. It’s a little big knife. Two very useful blades in an attractive package. It’s basically a small jackknife. It’s small enough for anyone to put in their pocket and…
