Didn’t work at all In fairness I’ve used several different brands/makes of these HDMI wall plates and I have yet to find any that work. My situation could vary from their intended purpose so I’m unsure how others fare. We’ve tried using them to offer a quick connect point for a ceiling mounted HD projector allowing presenters to plug a short length of HDMI from their laptops to the wall outlet.The plenum grade HDMI cable in the wall running to the projector is 40′ in length, I suppose that could be the…

Nice wall plate I’ve installed plastic wall plates that feel ready to break if you pull out your HDMI cable the wrong way. This is a well built unit. Stainless steel finish is very nice – the pictures don’t do it justice. A small, green led illuminates when an active HDMI signal is present – this led is not too bright, it’s just perfect (a bright led would have been no good).
