Amazing Tent This tent is huge, I have a 2017 Tacoma long bed and it fits just right on there. If you have the short bed, this will be too big The inside is huge, we have taken it camping several times and I feel like 4 people can easily fit in there. Two adults and a German Shepherd slept in there just fine. The ladder is a little funky, when you open it up the side that sits on the ladder side feels really weak.
Best trailer tent ever I purchased this tent for my custom designed trailer. It is 76″ long and 47″ wide when close, so it is not really recommended by the manufacturer for a car top. But for a trailer works great. We fit two adults and two kids with ease. The quality of the materials is impeccable. The design with the extra coverage makes it great for the northwest, on rainy days. Smittybilt really done it this time.
Definitely a good buy if you need a large roof top tent Smittybilt has been hit or miss for me. I’ve bought a bumper, flares, CO2 tank and other stuff from them. The bumper didn’t fit well, the flares rusted within two weeks but the CO2 tank worked great. I was a little nervous about the quality of the tent but the reviews I found online looked promising. This is the XL tent by the way, it’s about twice as wide as the standard Overlander tent. After looking at other tents this size I decided the price of Smittybilt was worth a shot. We got the tent…
