They work but can break I wouldn’t try and mix batter with these but for basic stirring they should be fine. I have 5 of these spoon and spork type and have only had one break as you would imagine weak point is that hinge point and that’s where mine broke stirring a mountain house meal. They fold up nice and I was able to stow mine in my cook pot to make a complete kit. I have since moved on to the TOAKS Ti spork but I still use these from time to time.

Just about perfect Not many reviews yet so I thought I’d leave one. It feels strongly enough so I’m probably not going to eat steak with it, and one overlooked but nice surprise is that it is long when unfolded and worked extremely well to stir dehydrated meals! Actually it would be perfect if it was about half an inch longer. It fit perfectly in the GSI mug and bowl.

Small, super light weight, relatively durable It’s a pretty basic folding spork. Super light, folds easily, and pretty durable for eating soft to moderate foods.. just don’t expect to be pulling apart chicken or steak with it. In the field I keep it in my cargo pocket because when is a spork ever not needed?
