Love this We have since ordered 6 more of these camping lights. We don’t camp. Our basement has no windows and the doors that would offer a light source are not near the basement doors. It is finished living space and with all the lights out you can’t see your hand in front of your face. We had a 48 hour power outage and tried these. Still tweaking how we would hang them, place them, but after reading the reviews and choosing these lanterns we were not disappointed.
Broke within 20 hours of indoor use. This unit is very bright. I have two UST Duro-brand lanterns rated at 700 and 1200 lumens, and this appears to be within the range delivered by those units. There are a few complaints I have about the Yeti (other than the fact that it died).The build quality is not on par with the UST lanterns, for which I paid $50 and $80 dollars at REI for their latest editions (not the older, dimmer ones sold on Amazon). Great Light, Yooper approved! After reading other reviews I decided to buy this for the cabin I have in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan that is off the grid. I needed it for getting into the cabin and those periods of time between lighting the propane lanterns.
