Freezer works at -20C with minimal power consumption This unit has allowed us to completely forego a cooler requiring ice replenishment and facilitated the removal of the freezer compartment in the Dometic refrigerator in our motorhome. We use it exclusively as a freezer and let it run constantly. It takes so little power on the eco setting that I plug it into the 12V AGM chassis battery (Sprinter) where it runs all night with no discernible drain (it would stop if the battery were run down but that’s been a moot point). I am powering this with a power station that was solar powered Actually I am powering this by solar because I powered this little power station with solar first and now the freezer is plugged into that and it’s just a 150 watt power station. I’m not sure how long it will power it I’m testing that but if you put in Frozen ice packs it really keeps it cold even if it’s not plugged in for a while I am buying a couple of these little power stations because they charge quickly with solar panels and a very lightweight
