Great Shoe – Cheap Lacing System (FAIL) I recently went to Alaska (beginning of August â18) & purchased these Adidas hiking shoes to take along with me. Comfy out of the box. These shoes breathe well and are waterproof. I wore them in the rain and my feet stayed dry. The soles are pretty solid and appear as though they will last. One major high point for these shoes is that they donât require a break in period. They are comfy right out of the box. I will add that thick socks add to the comfort of these shoes.I must add that I am only reviewing my right shoe. My left one has what I suspect is a defect.
