So far so good! I am a regular shoe size 8, running shoe size 8.5, so I bought these in a 9 based on previous reviews and they were PERFECT. Right out of the box I hiked about 4 miles on rough rocky terrain, then the next day I hiked 10 miles on similar terrain; these shoes didn’t need a break in period (thank goodness and lucky for me since I was chancing it). They are waterproof and my feet didn’t hurt afterwards, just my legs! They are lightweight an have a good color selection to choose from. I don’t have…
Lightweight, comfortable and ACTUALLY WATERPROOF! Let me start by saying this was my first hiking boot purchase, and I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect. I was planning a short hike on the Appalachian Trail last year during a week that included a few possible days of rain, so i was looking for a shoe that wouldn’t soak and had some traction. After reading Amazon reviews on all women’s hiking boots I decided that Ahnu was the most promising brand. So I bought the Sugarpine in Honey!
