AT&T (H2O) no longer supports 2G service. Use T-Mobile. I used to like them, worked well. One was lost when my car was totaled Nov 2016. I needed to replace it and strangely enough, My other unit quit working. Thinking maybe it had gone bad I ordered 2 more (Jan 2017). Now I read that ATT shut down their 2G GSM network which is what these used (via h2o cell service). Is there another carrier that can work with these with an affordable plan? If not all these are now useless in North USA. FreedomPop will not work as you need an app on your phone to…
Great product! Works fine in Venezuela, it is functioning with a sim card from Movilnet. I bought this for my mom, she hasn’t had any problems so far, so I would recommend it! I still don’t know if I will have to pay a fee for the usage of the software, but so for I haven’t paid anything.
ALERT!! Does not work in US anymore! This devices uses the 2G GSM network, which AT&T shut down effective 12/31/2016. All the units I had quit working.
