Bagail Carbon Trekking Poles

Weighing less than 0.5 pound per pack, Bagail Carbon Powerlock poles are among the lightest trekking poles on the market. These carbon-fiber, four-section poles also feature easy-to-use external locking mechanisms.

Bagail Carbon Powerlock trekking poles feature Bagail’s EVA Full Foam Grips. These soft, streamlined grips are shock absorbing and their 8-degree corrective angle reduces strain on the wrists. Integrated straps further save your wrists from undue stress.

The external locks found on the Bagail Carbon Powerlock are far easier to adjust than the internal locking mechanisms used on many telescoping poles. Simply push open the locking tab, adjust the poles to the required length (43.6″-51.2″) and snap the tab back into place.

Tried and Tested I used a single pole in Iceland. I used it two times for several hours. I didn’t experience any loosening issues others have spoken about. I set the height, twisted the pole together and never looked back. I’m 5’11” 190lbs and put a lot of my weight on it several times, each time with more confidence and less worry.

Amazing price, super convenient portability I love how easy it is to collapse this pole and fold it down. I was worried that it might be a little complicated or awkward, but you pull them apart at the joints and they are attached by bungee cords. They then fold and then you wrap the black velcro strap around them to the shortest length of approx 14″ (the specs are given).

Perfect for carry-on I have a pair of traditional trekking poles that have served me well over the years. Unfortunately, even when retracted the whole way, they do not fit in a carry-on suitcase. In looking at the selection on Amazon, this product looked like a good choice.
