Bamboo Cutlery Set with 8.5 inch Stainless Steel Metal Straw and Cleaner I really like this eco friendly portable utensil set. The bamboo knife, fork and spoon are the perfect size to hold in your hand and they weigh almost nothing. The straws are stainless steel and smooth with no sharp edges. I also like that it comes with a small cleaning brush for the straws. I use these instead of the plastic utensils and straws you get at fast food restaurants to avoid throwing out so much plastic. More practical than I imagined So we are committed to taking lunch to work.This is more practical than I imagined. It has everything including a metal straw. We put it in the dishwasher, no idea if you are supposed to do that, probably not but we have had no problems. Having the full set means you can eat like a human, fork and knife for lunch, spoon for a side of yogurt etc.. If anything happens I would replace with the same. We have been using it for about a month now with no complaints.
Great intentions but not the best quality For the price, this is an excellent deal, no doubt. The straws and cleaning brush are very good quality. The bamboo utensils are a little rough or jagged in some areas. The spoon does not work for soups, its not deep enough and I had difficulty eating my sauteed veggies with the fork. It doesn’t seem the points are small/sharp enough to actually stab the food. The knife edges are a little difficult to clean but with a little extra scrubbing I got the leftover food chunks out of their hiding…
