Totally Misrepresented The hat looks nothing like the picture. The price has dropped in the past week and any price is too much. The actual circumference of the hat is smaller than advertised. I hoped it would loosen up, but it seemed to get tighter. It is impossible for me to wear the hat. I am very disappointed with this purchase. All you have to do is look at the picture to evaluate the actual hat for yourself.
Best Columbia Replacement (for less $) I lost my giant Colombia floppy hat months ago. I have been passively looking for a replacement but none of the Columbia hats I’ve seen in stores has been truly “wide-brimmed”. This hat is plenty wide enough to protect my neck and nose, breathes just as well as my old Columbia, and was half the price. It has incredible value. I work outside and fish a lot so I use it often. I have only had it a couple of weeks so I’ll update if I have any reliability issues.
Wind, sun, rain.. This hats the answer I love this hat, I’ve worn it in the rain(keeps my butts dry), sun(shoulders were fine when my belly was red as a lobster), and the gusty wind at the beach didn’t knock it off my head(even if it did, it has the hat catching beauty all bucket hats should. Plus, I have quite a large head and there’s still a little bit of room left on the elastic tightening band!Got it to replace a much more expensive black dog hat.. Will be getting this again if I ever lose it!
