Works great on Wrangler with spare on the back solid piece. Works great on Wrangler with spare on the back. Wish they offered one in a mirror image for the other side.
Reamed That Hole Out To Get The Antenna To Seat Properly Take this item just as it sits in that picture, put a vertical mirror along side the left side of the bracket there, you see the image displayed in the mirror, make that bracket too.Fits perfect, no worries, although i had to ream the hole out a little to get the antenna base to seat properly.Giggity
Simple, but some issues This mount works well enough, but there are some things you need to be aware of. It will have a slight angle that will make the antenna rub against your spare tire. I am currently running the stock Rubicon mud terrains on my JK and it is a problem. I put a spring on my mount to give it some flexibility, but this mount really needs to be bent slightly to avoid putting pressure on the tire.
