I think “12 hour illumination” is a pretty big stretch though These are VERY bright glow sticks. You can definitely use them to read. I think “12 hour illumination” is a pretty big stretch though. I snapped one last night before going to bed. 7 hours later it was still emitting light, but considerably dimmer than when it was first activated. Its probably more fair to say these are 6 hour glow sticks.However, that said, I’ll just throw a few extras in my disaster kit and call it done.
