Outstanding knife, with one caveat My first Benchmade. Met most of my expectations: sharp as a razor, great steel, smooth opening and lightweight yet durable handles. My only gripe is that the blade was not centered and no amount of adjustment seems to make a difference. Kind of disappointed by that considering I have knives a third of the price that are much better centered. Overall, though, I’m fairly pleased.

Love the blade. Hate the scales. First impression of this blade was “wow, this thing is YUGE”. No joke. Biggest knife I own yet! Love it. If I pull it out and people go “whoa” then you know it’s a solid knife. Like Ricky Bobby says, “The Jackhawk 9000”.Although, I hate the scales. A Pretty Solid Pocket Knife I bought the full sized Benchmade Griptilian to try and see what it was like in person. I’m picky about how a knife feels in hand, smoothness of operation and looks. I have a simple collection of knifes that range in price $150 to $20. I compare this Benchmade Grip knife to a recent Spyderco Manix 2 I bought.
