Work great Purchased two sets for my new apartment and have had them a week. They are the perfect weight and did not arrive damaged. I hand wash them only with fragrance free seventh generation soap. If you put them in the dishwasher or use acidic soaps (with organge or lemon scents) the gold will wear. However, this is for ANY set of copper/gold plated silverware even if it comes from Crate and Barrel which is quadruple the cost. Perfect value and looking forward to continued use at my new home
A great product at a great price This is a beautiful set! It is medium to almost light weight, but not in a cheap feeling in the hand kind of way. The edges are nice and smooth as opposed to some rough cut silverware that you would find in some cheaper restaurants. I havenât owned the set for very long and only handwash all of my dishes. Glad I purchased them I don’t know what the other reviewers do with their flatware. I have had these about a month, use them every day. I only bought one set since the reviews were bad, so I have only had 4 spoons, forks, knifes for 2 people… so we obviously use and abuse them every day. I’ve machine washed and hand-washed them and they still look the same way I got them. I don’t know how the color is coming off for some people.
