My favorite backyard piece! It took two of us to put it together but it was a fun project! It took maybe the total of an hour. It’s very nice! I sprayed mine with Rustoleum that i had left from spraying my outdoor firepit as other reviewed suggested because mine came with plenty of scratches in the paint and the ends were obviously not coated. I love this lounger I love this lounger! When I received the package containing the lounger in the mail I was at first very over-whelmed with the size of the box. It was a whopping 79 lbs! I should not have worried. Upon opening the package I was relieved to find that all the parts were securely wrapped and very well made. Great chairs if they didn’t rust…. disappointing I purchased two of these chairs. The good news first… they arrived promptly and were relatively easy to assemble. They are also very comfortable. One small improvement that I made – I used a bungee cord to tie the chair down to the base. This doesn’t affect it at all when you are sitting on it but it keeps the chair from blowing in the wind.
